My Outdoor Christmas Decor...

I always dread heading out into the cold to do Christamas
decorating - but today the weather was perfect!
So for a few hours - I played.  First up - the front porch.
I  used many summer things - including this wicker planter.
The greens are long garlands - I just stuffed 'em in there.

I accumulate inexpensive stuff over the years and
then figure out how to make it work.  My papier
mache sled cost $3 - probably should be inside...
The bushel basket is loaded with greens (branches
from an artificial tree), pinecones and a 'present'.
Love my red laces in the ice skates - from last year.
Now the side garden.  My lamp posts...
...and garden planter with the bird bath in the background...

At my garage door - I poked a garden ornament into
a planter and added more fake tree branches...
Still need to add twinkle lights here and there -
but that will wait for another day.

I love the lamp post, and the branches and garden ornament in the planter is a really cute idea. Thank you for visiting my blog. In answer to your question, yes, I live in the little cabin. We lived in our fifth wheel parked on the property for quite awhile then moved in. The little place was built in the early 1970's. At the time it was more like a cabin near the mountains with hardly any neighbors. Now it's in a residential area, but we have empty lots beside us and across from us, so it's kind of to itself. We love it!

I love all the natural greenery you used to decorate. So fresh and pretty.

Your lamp post looked perfect for the Christmas season, Joyce. An outdoor light like this can make your lawn look dramatically cozy.
